Get Involved
There are many ways for our international students to get involved, including these opportunities
Opportunities to Get Involved
International Student Advisory Board
The International Student Advisory Board (ISAB) provides a direct line of communication between the Office of International Studies and Programs (OISP) and the international student community at Illinois State University. The ISAB is offered the opportunity to provide input on projects and services organized by OISP, and to discuss important issues impacting the international student community. The primary goal of the ISAB is to ensure that all projects, programs, and services provided to international students are focused on enhancing the overall experience of these students during their time at Illinois State University.
ISAB Meetings
ISAB Meetings will be regularly held on the fourth Thursday of every month, from 12pm to 1pm in the International House Lounge in 105 Vrooman Center. These meetings are free and open to all international students currently enrolled at ISU. An ISAB meeting agenda will be sent out through the International Student Listserv prior to each meeting so that students may provide feedback, even if they are unable to take part in the meeting.
